How To Spend Your 10 Minutes a Day on LinkedIn
February 1, 2020
By Jillian Bullock
Make LinkedIn a regular habit by allocating 2 minutes a day on each on the following:

Comment
Add insightful comments to posts that are more than just “this is interesting”. Why and how is it interesting to you?

Connect
Find someone relevant who engaged with your content recently or look through mutual connections. Set an achievable goal of spending 2 minutes on gaining 2 new connections a day which will translate to hundreds of connections by the end of a year.

Support
Like, comment or share content from people you know in business, colleagues, business friends or referral partners. If you have been tagged in someone’s post, engage with it. You may be acknowledged for your efforts with support for your posts in return.

Update
Share content you’ve found interesting at least a few times per week. Whether it’s your own article or someone else’s enlightening perspective, ensure it is in your area of expertise or industry. Ask a question in your update to add value and encourage engagement with the post.

Message
It’s easy for this InBox to get out of control (especially if you have your setting to receive work anniversary or birthday notifications) so keep on top of it by answering messages daily rather than taking it by chunks at a time.

As you can see there’s your 10 minutes. Just a little snippet of time here or there can make a big difference to your LinkedIn efforts. A little can go a long way.
